Over the Moon

As you can tell from the website I set off on the biggest challenge of my life at the end of March 2007. After 6 months of training and a detailed preparation I managed to complete the 22nd Marathon Des Sables finishing in 31hrs 4mins and 132nd place overall.

Support

Throughout the week I was spurred on by the backing and support I had recieved from friends, family and colleagues during the run up to this event. I was touched by the messages of encouragement, the level of interest in what I was taking on and of course by the generosity of everyone who donated. Including gift aid reclaimed and money donated by HBOS we've raised almost £8000 for Marie Curie which is a fantastic amount and I'm sure it is being put to good use.

And finally..

I would just like to thank everyone for their support and backing for the Marathon Des Sables.
